Our regulators

To achieve our aim of ending homelessness and rebuilding lives, we offer a wide variety of services. These include accommodation, support, care homes, mental health and substance use support and work, skills and employment training. We also work with national and local government to shape policy and legislation and fundraise to help us carry out our work.

The breadth of聽our services聽means we work closely with聽several regulatory bodies:

聽鈥� the CQC regulates the care homes we manage
聽–聽the regulator of charities in England and Wales who oversee our activities as a charitable organisation
聽鈥� the FR oversees our activities as a fundraising charity
聽鈥� the RSH regulates our work as a provider of social housing
聽(OISC) 鈥� 麻豆传媒鈥檚 is registered with the OISC to provide advice in relation to the EU settlement scheme. OISC regulates immigration advisers, ensuring they are fit and competent and act in the best interest of their clients.
聽鈥� Our obligations as a “data controller” We handle personal data from our clients, supporters, campaigners and staff, so we’re registered as a “data controller” with the ICO. We have obligations for how we handle personal data, ensuring we keep it safe and use it only with permission.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

We run two care homes, regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England:

The CQC ensures that services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care.

Fundraising Regulator

As a charity who runs appeals,聽events听补苍诲听campaigns聽in order to raise money, we鈥檙e registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

The Fundraising Regulator holds and enforces the聽聽and the聽聽鈥� the rules that all fundraising organisations are bound by.

Information Commissioners Office: our obligations as a 鈥榙ata controller鈥�

We handle personal data from our clients, supporters, campaigners and staff, so we鈥檙e registered as a 鈥渄ata controller鈥� with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). We have certain obligations for how we handle personal data, ensuring we keep it safe and only share or use it with permission.

Regulator of Social Housing

The聽Regulator of Social Housing聽acts as the government’s social housing regulator. It provides regular reports on each registered social housing agency in England.

On any one night we provide housing and support to around 3,150 people. We own numerous properties and function as a social landlord, which is why we鈥檙e regulated by the RSH – our latest report can be found聽.

麻豆传媒鈥檚 has a G2 governance rating, a V2 financial rating, and a C2 consumer standards rating.
